THE President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa has left the country for Glasgow Scotland to attend the highly anticipated COP26 Climate Change Summit which begins this Sunday.
Delegates from about 200 countries will be there to announce how they will cut emissions by 2030 so as to save the planet.
He is accompanied by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development Professor Mthuli Ncube ,the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ambassador Fredrick Shava and seven elders from the clergy who include Rev Andrew Wutawunashe and others whose mission is to talk to the church in the United Kingdom .
At the summit President Mnangagwa and his delegation will present Zimbabwe’s mitigation measures and adaptation actions against climate change.
In his absence, Hon VP Dr CGDN Chiwenga will be Acting President.
