ZIMBABWEAN fashion designs are dazzling the world, with award-winning fashion designer, Ishmael Tsakatsa set to grace the forthcoming Paris Fashion Week which begins on September 21.
Captivating and awesome, the designs have left many international adjudicators asking for more as the local designer,Tsakatsa prepares for the forthcoming Paris Fashion Week.
“I am very happy and it means a lot for the fashion and clothing industry in Zimbabwe because l will be representing the country at large in Paris and this will boost our industry,” he said.
Tsakatsa is the brains behind the Zargesia designs, a label that has not only mesmerised judges but those who have donned the outstanding designs on the ramp.
Top celebrities and socialites in Zimbabwe attest to the exquisite taste of the designs.
“The young man is very exceptional he made my dress in 24 hours l was given his number by Pokello, him going to Paris will market Zimbabwe, put Zimbabwe on the map as a tourist destination he deserves it,” said Zodwa Mkandla .
“This is a big deal for the Zimbabwean fashion industry as Paris is the epitome of fashion and they don’t play when it comes to fashion,” said Lilian Madyara.
Serving professional buyers, journalists and photographers, Tsakatsa has made a major breakthrough in the history of the Zimbabwean fashion industry.
