The Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) has attributed its dominance in the media industry which was confirmed by the latest ZAMPS results to a dedicated workforce which is eager to fulfill the national broadcaster’s mandate.
Sub-ticker- Radio Zimbabwe retains its lead while National FM registers tremendous growth.

Gifted with such vibrant and charismatic personalities, it isn’t surprising that ZBC’s National FM has moved up the ladder to second in terms of listenership.

ZBC Head Public Relations Rumbie Moyo reckons the ZAMPS results are a clear indication that the national broadcaster is fulfilling its mandate.

“ZBC is pleased with what the ZAMPS results got to show. Our radio stations are being listened to by many Zimbabweans and our TV has 30% viewership. The ZAMPS results show that we are serving Zimbabweans in a very good way and they also show us where we need to improve,” says ZBC’s Head Public Relations, Rumbie Moyo.

Topping the list was Radio Zimbabwe which retained its lead nationally and in urban areas with 51%.
On number two is National FM which jumped to 43%.
Power FM occupies the 3rd position with 30% while ZBC’s Khulumani FM which was established in 2018 made huge strides taking 4% of the listenership.
