How to get rid of ingrown hairs or razor bumps

Ingrown hairs or razor bumps are hairs that were waved by root and grew under the skin instead of out. A hair grown under the skin produces skin irritation and inflammation that looks like a small pimple. Sometimes you can see the hair under the skin or you sometimes only see a lump. These ingrown hairs can be painful because its causes inflammation.

Here are two home remedies that can get rid of ingrown hairs/ razor bumps

  1. Sugar and coconut oil mask

Sugar is a good exfoliant that will help hair grow normally. It removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. Mix two table spoons of sugar with one tablespoon of coconut oil and mix well then apply this mask to the affected area. Make sure you dampen the skin with water first then massage gently the mask on the skin in circular motion. Rinse with warm water

2. Vinegar

Vinegar fights bacteria and eliminates naturally the ingrown hairs. Prepare a solution from one part vinegar and one part water then apply it on the affected area. If you notice skin burns and razor bumps also use coconut oil to moisturize the area daily until you get smooth skin
