Veteran gospel musician Mechanic Manyeruke marked his return in the music scene with a new offering titled Dzokororo in Harare this week.
Popularly referred to as Baba Manyeruke, the musician has had more than five years without recording, but dropped the 10-track album featuring some of his old songs which have been reproduced including the popular Rudo SerwaPeter, Josefa and Madhimoni.
Baba Manyeruke said he named his albumDzokororo or repeat because it features some of his old songs reinvented so that people remember the old vibes.
New songs on the album include Vakandichengeta Amai and Maita Nokuuya.
To date, Baba Manyeruke has produced more than 25 albums.
